Starting wage to be £8.75 per hour rising to 20k - 21k plus very competitive bonus per annum, plus £1000 a year attendence bonus

Our client an independent electric cable manufacturing company, who have a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the most advanced cable making equipment. The cables and flexibles manufactured are produced to the highest level of quality and in strict compliance with the appropriate British, European and other relevant standards and specifications. The production is supported by high technology and stringent quality control of all raw materials. Our client is a BASEC Licensee and has also been awarded the certificate of Assessed Quality Management by the British Approval Service for Cables. Such certification is only awarded to manufacturers whose factory and quality control procedures meet the stringent requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 : 2000 Quality System.
The client is looking to recruit a maintenance electrician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering or maintenance electrical background, and will have worked with repairing and servicing dc drives. Having experience of plc's would be an advantage.
Initally working ours will be 8am to 4.30 5 days a week or 6am to 6pm. After a qualifying period you will then move on to a shift pattern working 12 our shifts days and nights average of 42 hours per week.
